Let’s add a “French Touch” to Edithvale at EPS!
Wednesday 21 August 2019 will be our French Cultural Day at Edithvale Primary School.
The French celebrations will start with an Assembly/Parade in the morning at 9.05am for students and staff. Parents are welcome to watch the Parade in the Learning Centre!
On the day, a roster will be drawn up for the students to attend a ‘Boule/Petanque Competition’ (Foundation to Year 3) & a French Movie ‘Les Choristes/The Chorus’ (Year 4, 5 & 6) and for students to collect their French Crepe from our French Chef ‘Karine’ (order forms will be sent prior to the day). ‘Miaaaaaaaaaaam’
We will run a competition throughout the whole school and the theme is ‘Les Vacances/The Holidays) Students can be dressed as French tourists, going on a winter holiday or a Mexican holiday … or with a touch of French (bleu/blue, blanc/ white, rouge/red).
A panel will be selected to judge the most original outfit per class, as a reward the winners will receive a free crepe.

We hope that everyone at Edithvale Primary School will embrace the spirit of the “French-je-ne-sais-quoi!” and dress up to the event!
