2016 French Cultural Day

On Wednesday 31 August 2016 we had our French Cultural Day at Edithvale Primary School.

French Cultural DayThe French celebration started with a Parade in the morning, where lots of very supportive parents came along to watch and enjoy the celebrations along with students and teachers.

The theme of the day was Comedians, Actors and French Mimes like the famous Marcel Marceau. There was a competition for the most original or creative costume, a panel was selected to judge each class, as a reward the winners got a free crêpe.

A ‘French-je-ne-sais-quoi’ was in the air and the costumes were ‘fantastique’

Throughout the day, the students collected their French Crêpe from our French Chef “Robert the crêpe man” ‘Miaaaaaaaaaaam’. It was great to hear so many students ordering their crêpe in French. The students also got to enjoy a French music and mime show.

Bravo et Merci!
