Edithvale Primary Teacher Parade – Monday 4/5 @ 3.00pm

01-MAY-2020

For the past 3 weeks most of our students have only seen their teachers through a screen and we are hoping to change this as we kick off Wellbeing Week. Our staff are missing seeing the smiles on our students’ faces and we hope to see these ‘live’ next week.

On Monday 4/5 at 3.00pm or teachers will assemble in their cars and drive around Edithvale in the EPS Teacher Parade. This will be an opportunity for students to see their teachers ‘in real life’ and wave to them as they slowly drive by.

The picture attached is a map of the route that our teachers will be taking in the Parade. We’d love to visit every street that our students live in but unfortunately this isn’t possible. We have tried to map a route that keeps us in our Designated School Zone. If you live outside our zone, the Edithvale Recreation Reserve might provide an opportunity to safely view the passing parade, as there is plenty of room to maintain physical distancing on offer.

We strongly encourage you to maintain physical distancing whilst waiting for our teachers. If you need to walk to a nearby street, please stand in a spot that is at least 1.5m from other families, so we can continue to limit the spread of the Corona Virus.

Our teachers and staff are very much looking forward to seeing our families and we hope you can make it to see the parade.
