Dear Families,
I am very pleased to confirm that we have been offered a FREE School Camp for our Year 5 and Year 6 students in the last week of Term 3 – and it is completely FREE! Having experienced the Waratah Beach camp last week, and seeing the enjoyment and camaraderie, it is exciting to think that we can offer another wonderful school camp experience – and also give students who were unable to participate last week with a unique experience in their final year or 2 of primary school.
The Positive Start School Camps are offered to eligible schools to help primary and secondary students boost their physical and emotional health and wellbeing in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
We will be heading off on 2 separate camps to ‘High Country Camp’ in the Tallangatta Valley. Our Year 5 students are booked in from Monday September 12 – Wednesday September 14 and then our Year 6s head off from the Wednesday 14 September to Friday September 16 (the last day of Term 3). The two separate camps will ensure that both year levels get to celebrate and enjoy the experience with their friends and peers.

Two- and three-day programs led by experienced, qualified staff provide a safe opportunity for students to experience many outdoor activities. Located in a scenic valley in Victoria’s stunning Northeast the open spaces, interactions with farm animals, and flexible programming to adapt to students’ interests, creates a relaxed atmosphere.”

Early in Term 3 we will provide more information, including packing lists, times etc.
