Dear Families
At this time next week we will all be able to take time to reflect upon a very different school term and start to get excited about what might be ahead of us in term 4. Our staff continue to be impressed by our students’ adaptability, resilience and willingness to take greater risks with their learning. Students have continue to make great gains through their persistence and hard work. As a small token of our gratitude, we were keen to say ‘thanks’ by streaming in a live performance from Cosentino this morning which we hope was enjoyed by all.
I wish to also acknowledge the incredible work of our staff over the last 8 weeks as well. Their presence online, planning and delivery of engaging and targeted lessons has been incredible and I am confident that our students have benefitted greatly from their professionalism, care and skill. Knowing each student and being able to build upon successes has ensured that although this year has been a disrupted one- it has not been a lost year of learning and development.
We understand the learning journeys of our students and look forward to welcoming them all back to school next term.
We know that we can’t do this without your support and the partnerships and community spirit that abound at Edithvale Primary School have been invaluable.
Best wishes for a great final week of Term and the chance to reflect on a job exceptionally well done.
Take care
James Whitla
