Beans Jar Guessing Competition
On Friday the 26 November we are raising awareness for Diabetes by inviting students to wear colourful or crazy
hair to school.
We will be holding a class guess the Jelly beans competition where each class will enter their guess to win the jar to share amongst the class.
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition which affects the pancreas and it’s ability to produce insulin. It is not preventable and there is no cure. Daisy from class 1A was diagnosed with type 1 when she was 2 years old. She wears an insulin pump 24/7 and has to manage her blood glucose levels daily . It’s our hope that one day there will be a cure! A cause that is close to our hearts.
We can’t wait to see your crazy hair on the 26th.
