Dear families
As we await the outcome of this morning’s CABINET meeting and the possibility of a snap lock down across Melbourne, we have decided to postpone the planned Welcome Back BBQ scheduled for this evening.
In light of the current climate we believe that this is in the best interests of our broader community and is a prudent measure in helping to reduce the chances of COVID-19 transmission and keep our students, families and staff safe.
We apologise for the short notice and for any inconvenience caused. We hope to be able to have the BBQ at a later date and will let you know when (if) this is possible.
On Friday February 12 our School Council and Staff will be hosting a welcome back to school BBQ straight after assembly. It will be a chance to catch up with other members of our school community and meet new families as we try to keep making strong connections and recreating the community ‘feel’ of our great school. We ask that anyone attending checks in using the QR codes available throughout the school and that where social distancing isn’t possible, a mask is recommended to be worn.
