NAPLAN Update

01-Sep-2021

Dear Families

Today we were able to access this year’s NAPLAN results and in the interests of sharing, reflecting and celebrating, I have included a quick whole school snapshot below. Considering the disruption of recent times, it is a remarkable effort to have our school’s Highest scores in 5 years for half of the categories below and a testament to the hard work of our students, families and teachers.

These results do not define us or our students, and there are some very pleasing results. We are proud of our students and the effort and determination they displayed to complete these assessments back in May. It is a ‘point in time’ data set that forms a small part of our school’s assessment schedule.

There is, as with all schools, some room for further improvement. These results, along with all of our other standardised assessments collected from students throughout the school, will help to form the focus of our next School Strategic Plan.

Today we will be posting out your child’s summary report. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you’d like clarification about any aspects of this report.
