Dear Families,
On the back of our successful bread bag recycling initiative, we would like to continue making a positive impact as a community on reducing landfill and becoming a more sustainable community by becoming more aware of our waste production.
Therefore, we will be launching another recycling program to recycle used toothbrushes and oral care products.
This program is supported by Colgate and run by Terracycle who aim to provide opportunities to recycle items that would usually not be recyclable.
TerraCycle is an innovative recycling company that has become a global leader in recycling hard-to-recycle materials. They offer a range of free programs, as well as recycling solutions available for purchase for almost every form of waste. Eliminate the idea of waste
We will provide a box located in the office area where you can drop off used manual toothbrushes, empty toothpaste tubes, interdental brushes and empty floss containers.
We will earn Terracycle points through this initiative which can be redeemed in the form of a donation to our school.
