Term 4 Week 2 Update

15-Oct-2021

Dear Families

We are excited to welcome our Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students back to school next week and our Year 3-6 students in the following week. It’s been a long, tough road and hopefully the end is in sight.

Over the past two weeks we have been preparing for the return of students to on-site learning. You may have read about the extensive health and safety protocols that have been mandated for schools by the Chief Health Officer and Victorian Government.  We will implement all of these directives with fidelity here at school.

Our school’s COVIDSafe Plan has been developed with direction from the Departments of Health and Education and to help keep our school safe, we will follow the health advice set out in the Victorian Government Schools Operations Guide. These health and safety measures will be regularly reviewed in line with the changing context of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Victoria.

We KNOW that our students have really missed while being away from school and the social connection this provides. Connection and Wellbeing will be vital upon their return – and what is equally important is the quality of face-to-face teaching they will again receive. Upon returning to school, teachers will be looking to balance wellbeing activities with high quality face-to-face teaching and support our students to enjoy a successful Term 4.

In this week’s update:

Take care and stay safe
