Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that this finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. I wish to also thank you for your patience, understanding and support in these uncertain times.
Devices such as laptops and iPads will again be made available on loan to students who do not have access to digital technologies at home. These devices are provided free-of-charge and aims to ensure that no student misses out on being able to access remote and flexible learning opportunities. We are aiming to loan Laptops to our Year 4-6 students and iPads to our Foundation – Year 3 students and this will be dependent upon the demand for each type of device.
To assist us in understanding the level of need for devices and network access to support us to deliver flexible and remote teaching and learning we need to know which students will require a device and/or network connection. If you require a school owned device to access remote learning opportunities, please email our school at:
edithvale.ps@education.vic.gov.au with a response to these statements by Thursday 16 July
Please include ‘access to devices and networks’ in the subject line
My child (insert name) ______________________________and Year Level ___________requires a device to access remote learning tasks from home.
We do not have the internet at home and will require internet access to learn from home.

We have the internet at home
On Friday 17 July we are hopeful that enough laptops and iPads will be available to be collected from school during the afternoon. All devices will need to be signed out at school and the attached Edithvale Primary School – Loan of Assets Agreement completed at that time. Please read this attached form prior to collection.
Devices can be collected from the gate closest to the School Crossing along Edithvale Road on Friday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm
